Please reach us at info@wearedirtyspoon.com if you cannot find an answer to your burning question.
Because...you know ...petaluma ...and cows ... and then Coachella ... and we just ... well you get it.
That's not a question.
We have no idea. But they had the URL first. So we used www.cowchellatwo.com
Pretty much right there on the homepage. But here it is again - April 29, 2023. 3:00pm.
Welllll...yes and no. Does it cost YOU? No. But yes there are some costs that go into it. But the musicians are volunteering their time, the sponsors are bringing their craft deliciousness, and the amazing owners of Cayetana (the ranch we'll be on) graciously open up their ranch. Should you feel moved to contribute, that's where we point you toward donating to support the WILMAR volunteer firehouse.
Probably the best thing to do is to respond on the Paperless Post thingee. https://www.paperlesspost.com/go/anLo2z9f5A1LyhrL91re But if you don't want to do that you could also pop us a note at rsvpforcowchella@gmail.com
Well. It depends. If you mean different - then no. If you mean "have they improved?" we would say yes, yes they have. Very much so. Freeloader, Dark-n-Stormy & DirtySpoon. It's like the holy trinity of middle-aged dude bands. Kinda.
You are 100% supposed to carpool again. Maybe even more so as we are expecting even more 'Chellers this year. Let's get creative. There is a rumor that some peeps in SF are chartering a school bus! Prizes for the most creative & efficient carpool approach.
There are more. Clean, well lit and pine scented.
So glad you asked! You're welcome after 3pm. Freeloader will play at 4:00pm, then Dark-n-Stormy at 5:30 and DirtySpoon at 7:00pm. Grill will be cranking and food available at 4:00pm.
We can. It's like a Delta Force of teenagers. They are called The JAMBASSADORS and they will be helping answer your questions, awkwardly laughing, avoiding eye contact, adorned in identifiable T-shirts, frequently checking their phones and shuttling 'Chellers from the parking area to the main camp.
It is! Once again we'll be raising moolah for the local VOLUNTEER fire department (that actually protects & defends the ranch we're on) called the WILMAR Fire Dept. We want to raise funds to help them make improvements to their fire house. You know - super luxury stuff like BEDS and CHAIRS and PLATES and CUPS. So - yeah.
Well - first - it's totally voluntary / optional. For example - if you are super INTO fires burning down structures and property and threatening lives and stuff - no need to donate. If on the other hand you're NOT into the above, we like to suggest 20 or 25 bucks a person. ALL OF IT goes to the WILMAR Volunteer Fire department. And by ALL OF IT we mean most of it. Kidding. All of it goes to them. You can do cash on the day of, and also you can do PayPal or Venmo. Our teenage Delta Force will be wearing tshirts with the QR code on the back (so clever) and they are good at helping you with your interwebs phone app thingee. And back by popular demand is a new tshirt design and our "donate what you think the tshirt is worth" approach.
Excellent question. And a very complicated topic. I guess we’d answer the question - with a question. Who needs a heart … when a heart can be broken? Have you considered that?
Yes! And thank you for asking. Back again this year is the State Room Brewery from San Rafael. Mr. Alex Stricker is kindly supporting the event with his delicious and life-affirming craft brews. Please support State Room Brewery with your patronage!
Yes! Ned Lawton (actually Ned's colleague Dwight) from Ethic Ciders will be on site again this year! Man that stuff is outstanding. In particular - the Gravitude is sublime.
Excellent question. Last minute heroics from Sergei Troxel are resulting in delicious Pinot and Cabernet from Troxel Estate Vineyards. Find him, embrace him, looking longingly into his exotic eyes and heartily thank him.
So glad you asked. And yes. Our good friend Colin Harter will be on hand with not one - but TWO brands in his portfolio-of-deliciousness. Colin is a partner at Lost Republic Distilling Co. (www.lostrepub.com) - the home of our favorite Bourbon. Yes please. And he is a partner at True Story Foods (www.truestoryfoods.com) and will be bringing their sustainable, responsible and delicious meats for the grill.
Also a great question. This year we are going to push hard on NOT using plastics. We're gonna bring compostable and/or reusable plates, forks, cups etc. Probably a combination of recycled and bamboo etc. And we hope you'll do the same. You know how Burning Man does their big-ass fire at the end (see also: greenhouse gases)? Maybe our hallmark will be a big-ass compost pile. Is it less sexy? Yes. Is it more helpful? Yes. Is helpful sexy? Yes. Did we just blow your mind? (...Yes.)
Absolutely. Send it on over to info@wearedirtyspoon.com
We'll do our best.
This just in. It ain't gonna be raining.
I mean...kinda depends on the family. But generally speaking - very much so yes. I guess our question is - is the family Cowchella friendly? If so - we're all good.
